Dr. Nathan Tenny
About
Dr. Nathan Tenny has worked in the wireless industry since 1995, contributing to the design and development of a wide range of technologies, from the Globalstar satellite system to the standardization of WCDMA/UMTS, LTE, and 5G cellular (3GPP NR). He has attended 3GPP standardization meetings in a variety of plenary and working groups during the 3G, 4G, and 5G development periods, including leading Qualcomm's delegation in 3GPP RAN2 and serving as the rapporteur for the introduction of positioning support into LTE. He holds over 100 issued U.S. patents and has provided engineering support for Qualcomm's extensive patent portfolio in all phases of the patent life cycle, as well as for negotiation, litigation, and regulatory processes. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Oregon.
